The Monkees - Words

I'm sending this one out to my man DK and he knows why...

No need to go into any great detail about the Monkees is there?

bet none of you all thought for a second the devil could back something like this huh...???

Goof or not, they had some cool tunes & ANY band that takes out The Hendrix Experience on tour with them as an opener to 12 year little girls MUST have been on some good drugs as they obviously didn't think that one out...

Anyway, this a great Tommy Boyce & Bobby Hart penned cut!

Enjoy!

Ha Love it, I’ve been working my way through The Monkees TV series DVDs over the last couple of weeks. My two kids are nuts for them.

PS have you checked out The Strangers cover of Mary Mary (did you know Glen Campbell played on the original). And you must check out Hubert Laws fluting-tooting version of Listen To The Band?

I fucking love The Monkees. I used to do a two-hour Monkees show on my college station every year during our annual fundraising drive.

Who doesn't love the Monkees... :)

Hi, DD. Been way too long! Hope all is going well with you. Just to let you know, I'm about to crack open a 2008 Anchor Steam next week. I hope you were able to enjoy one. Just bought a 2009 mag today.

@ Mondo: Hiya! Too long for you too :) Question: are those Monkees DVDs out of print? I'd kill to get a copy of season 2 (I'll ask Sandy Claw lol)

Miss you guys. Keep up the "devilish" work mon frer. Have a great holiday.

Peace and blessings.

Hey DD... There were 2 versions of Pleasant Valley Sunday. One lead in line was "Your Local Rock Group Down The Street Is Trying Hard To Lear That Song" The other was "Your Uncle Rocco Down The Street Is Trying Hard To Mow His Lawn"... What the hell was that all about?
