Glen Holden's "Astro-Notes" - Rocket To The Moon

Rare rock & roll space novelty from 1958? by Glen Holden's "Astro-Notes" doing Rocket To The Moon... Who was Glen Holden? & who were the Astro-Notes? ur guess is as good as mine..... I don't have time for all that internet searching.... but after a quick 2 page search i found nothing much, except that one person has this listed as 1958 & another as 196?....
One other thing i found is i love these old school 50's & 60's space themed tunes and i need more.... Happy Friday.

Hearse - Twist It Up - Ode To A Hollywood Drunk

A couple of former new Jersey hardcore band Bedlam members and friends with some gnarly heavy punkish rock and roll on "twist one up" and a bit more staright forward 60's punk vibe on "ode to a hollywood drunk". This one slips sunder the NJ radar... Drummer Lenny Sblendorio was the label manager of New Jersey's Buy Our Records who put out some of NJ's best hardcore & punk shitz..... Wacky Hi-jinx anyone??? Producer Charly Pip was a member of The Colors & Skulls, another great NJ punk rock and roll band.... he and Lenny are now in a band called DEVILHAUS.

The Chevelles - The Gallop

Another well played flea market find. The Chevelles doing The Gallop on the Flaming Arrow record label from 1968. It's a funky little intrumental with a grooving bass line and funky horns. Not bad for 25 cents...
