Mad Dog & The Pups? Guess What? I grew up in Detroit, attended Webber Junior High School, Northwestern High School, and I know exactly who they are. Talk about "Funky Monkey." I have the "Bring It To The Light" 45, and male caller contacts the "Mason in the Morning" radio show and requesting their song "Hip Hug Her." So, Mad Dog, wherever you are, you and them Pups defintely have fans.
Count me & the Mystery Caller in.

My name is Mike Neal. Rodney Jones was my best friend and we spent a lot of time together in the 70's I was very close with his family. His brother was in Detroit PD. I've been looking for maddog a long time as I am in Fontana California producing music and videos. He needs to know that his old girl pumpkin passed away years ago. If anyone of his family reads this, E-mail me @ abdulneal@hotmail.com. go to YouTube.com/Goldie Himllayya to see my stuff!

I remember when Hep Squeeze and Funky Monkey came out and everyone in Detroit MICHIGAN that loved soul music was digging them.
