Here is another from the Mutha files. From 1983 and New Jersey's Child Abuse. This one was just recently added to my quest to collect the entire Mutha catalog. I just happened upon an old NJ musician/store owner that has boxes of old unused stock of some Mutha releases and not having this one it was a welcome addition and at nice price. Anyone have the Burnt 7 inch???
The claim to fame with with one is the fact that the drummer was a mere 12 years old at the time of the recording of this 7 inch. It's no Mental Abuse or Chronic Sick but this an enjoyable quick sloppy mess of a punk/hardcore record and very indicative of the times being had in Jersey back then...
Enjoy a nice little slice of NJHC from 83 and a record that i guess is getting more rare all the time...

We played a few years ago with a noise band called Child Abuse. I tried telling them they needed to change their name because of this band. They didn't listen to me.
Fucking fantastic band. Totally screwed up avant garde hardcore. The single never quite captured them, but it still sounds great after all of these years.
Pete the bass player used a fretless! How wrong is that?
They did a live set on my WMCX/Monmouth College radio show. Tape is long gone. They even gave me a test pressing of the 7 inch. And the followup band, Cold Beer was even more of a mess.

I think the toy idea is a great one! I'd really love to do it. About 15$Nz would be fine, I'm not sure how much postage would be but, I dont think it would be to much. Sorry I took a while to get back to you im just moving at the moment, but i'll try to get it done this weekend.
