Neil Norman - Pasher-Laser

When vultures cry
Streets run red with human blood
All the world is dark
Death screams through the earth....

Stonehenge - (For The Love Of A) Sweet Woman Like You

I'm having a good summer. For the first time in my life I have been selling records. I've never done this before for myself. I never liked the grip & flip mentality. And most people who sell records are some weird messed up humans, so i stayed away from it. But, I've been selling off some stuff i care very little about or things i have multiple copies of and buy some things i actually want. Here is my newest addition to my heavy psych & thud rock collection of 45's...

49th Blue Streak - Fire / Foxy Lady

2 wild Hendrix cover songs. As blown out, fuzzed out and as wasted as you can get.... Sounds like a really wasted Blue Cheer.

The American Express - When The City Sleeps

Great guitar workout from The American Express on the Vault Records label; 1969. Wish it went on a tad bit longer because the jam is that good....

Zendik - Is There No Peace

Do you think you would like to find a way out of here?
Do you think you’d like to look at your mind through a kaleidoscope mirror?
Well it just might be the answer even though you’ll die faster here,
‘Cause God was dead a long long time ago.

God is dead, God is dead, GOD IS DEAD

Long time heavy riff rock 45 finally crossed of my list. No idea who "Clease" was or where they were from or what year this came out, my guess is 1972? Any info on this band would be greatly appreciated!

The Headstones - Snake Dance / Buying Time - What People Say / Carry Me On

Couple of cool heavy rock psych jams with a slight southern rock vibe by The Headstones on the Rome Records Inc. label out of Columbus Ohio. Years unknown, but they put a killer heavy rock album out in 1974 under just "Headstone" called Still Looking. And I'm still looking for a copy for years now..... One of these days i will get a copy. SOON! Until then enjoy these 2 45's.

The Guise - News

Here is a great punky garage psych tune from 1967 on Musicland U.S.A. records. Seems the only news I get these days is just bad news.... Just lost another brother. RIP Mike you were a rad dude. Jesus, getting old sucks... I'm crawling into bed... lates.

The 13th Floor - We'll Break Your Heart / The Garden

Chill unknown hippie vibes from 1972 on the Susquehanna label by The 13th Floor. The A side sounds a bit more like a mid 60's pop garage tune than 1972 to my ears. Side B is more moody with mellow organ vibes that picks up 1/2 way through with a groovy bass line and then a nice little guitar solo. Going great with hot coffee and pouring rain outside my back door. Dig it.

Woody Herman - Freedom Jazz Dance

I always thought that Woody Herman was sorta lame. I'm not really a big band jazz guy so i didn't think much of this 45 when i found it but this is some seriously Unexpected Funkiness.

Little Dave - Loser's Cathedral

In a loser's cathedral, a church for a fool
And you pay for the time that you waste on that stool
But each Sunday morning I hold my high mass
With a couple of ice cubes and God in a glass....

ABC-PARAMOUNT 10039— Rocker instrumental with a Latinish beat spots a twangy guitar lead. Wordless chorus is spotlighted.

Robert & Johnny - You're Mine - Million Dollar Bills

I just picked this up with a bunch of other 45's on the cheap from a crappy flea market. They guy i bought it from was surely dying of cancer as he stunk of rotten eggs and wet cigarette butts. He leaves his records out in the sun to warp and says they are mint. I feel sorry for the guy. He just sits there smoking and no one buys his junk. God, I hope I die before I lose what little touch I have with reality. I wish he had some more good records....
