Ripping early R&B Rocker. Man it's hard to beleive this is from 1955/56 because it rips so hard. Great guitar and just an killer uptempo groove. When these guys say "It's Party Time!" They mean it! I would have loved to party with these dudes... Plus they named themselves after an old battery company. Killer. Looks like they were from New York.

Ed Pauling And The Exciters from 1965 w/ a great swinging blues/soul instrumental with some killer guitar work on the great Savoy Records label. The horns keep it pumping and we get a little bass solo action w/ some answering guitar. Neat. The tune ends rather abruptly and i'd have liked it to jam on for a bit more but whats there is pretty excellent. jam on it.
