Yes a masterpiece. I think I remember hearing this late at night when I was a kid. It was the kind of thing that Gary Stevens used to slip into his playlist on WMCA. Just at the birth of FM underground radio Gary tried sneaking a little bit of that open format on to top 40. I wasn't quite prepared for hippies at the age of 12 or 13 but Gary really spoke to me. I've often wondered what came of him.
This also strikes me as being in the same subgenre as CB Savage by Rod Hart. Maybe we should call it lisp rock although CB Savage was country. "Any of you diethel demons got a big 10-4 for me? I'd love to get to know your handles. Yoo hoo! Breakeroo!"
