Zig Dillon - On Down The Line

Here is a great little rockabilly number by Allen (Zig) Dillon (Born January 1, 1923) Dig the uptempo beat and that crazy high vocal in the background that sort of doubles as a horn section! Crazy man! Crazy! Looks like this has been comped a bunch of times after doing a quick search of the interweb but couldn't find much about Mr. Dillon.

supposedly recorded at sun in memphis in 1960 with the sun studio musicians. zig dillon was a motivational speaker or evangelist or something like that, sorry i just can't remember all the details. there were about 10,000 of these 45s in the old sun warehouse in KC, i bought several boxes and sold them for years.
