I don't know anything about this one but I do know that Moby Grape was hyped beyond belief. Every single song on their album was released as a single with picture sleeve. I remember being a kid and walking into a record store and seeing a row of 45's lined up in the rack from a band that I hadn't even heard of. I ended up quite liking them but my initial reaction was, as twelve years today might say, "WTF?"

In Billboard 9th November 1968 you can read that this mini-LP was part of a campaign by Consolidated Cigar Corp. to launch Tipalet "a new cigar designed for special appeal to young smokers". Apparently on 26th November, there was a concert with Vanilla Fudge & 5th Dimension "The Tipalet Experience"...

@Jon Get your facts right before spouting off. Every song of Moby Grape's album was not released as a single. 5 of 13 were released as singles with another 5 as B-sides. Even if you claim that B-sides are singles too it is still only 10 out of 13 tracks.
