Louis Jordan - Old Age - What I Say

It's a rainy, wet and basically miserable day here on he east coast again and not unlike how its been around the devils lair lately. I was out of work for 4 weeks after some surgery and went back 2 weeks ago only to find that nothing was done in my absence and i've been slammed at work ever since, my kids have been sick & i've been dealing with some other issues as well, and on top of all this crap another friend of mine has died. Seems the older i get the more friends i lose. i guess that is the nature of life and the same for everyone....

R.I.P. "Psycho" Sam...

Old age aint nothin' but a matter of time...

Louis Jordan - Old Age

Edit 7/5/09: I added the B side per comment request.

Sorry to hear about your pal passin', I've lost more friends in the last six years than I knew I had....I guess that's why they make alcohol.

I can relate. I just turned 58 and they're starting to drop here and there. Lost an old girlfriend last fall and didn't expect that one.
Thanks for posting this...I love Louie Jordan's Tangerine (Ray Charles label and way of saying Thank you to an old influence) output. What's on the flip of this? Could you post it as I've never seen THIS one before. Thanks.

What better way to celebrate still being alive than listening to a great Louis Jordan song! Hang in there, DD, things will pick up soon.

Oddly enough the flip is a cover of "What I Say" by Mr. Ray Charles... One hand washes the other i guess. I'll get around to posting it at some point.

Thanks guys.
