Listening now. Love the opening track, would really like to know who that is.
ReplyDeleteI know the second track. One of the best tunes by one of my favorite fairy rock bands of the 70's (well, the first two albums anyway). Won't spoil it for the others yet ;)
I'm in the same boat - I know the second track but would love to know the first. Cool mix so far.
ReplyDeleteI recognized the aforementioned fairy rockers, the British proggies right after that and of course two of the coolest female-fronted bands of the late 60's/early 70's (one of em Dutch)
ReplyDeleteCool mix btw. I like the first and the last track best, and the one with the female vox and the horn section (Curved Air?)
The picture is quiet irritating to my eyes.
ReplyDeleteCassy from Acoustic Guitar Online
frobbert, that is not curved air but good guess.... :)
ReplyDeleteThe first song is ''Do You understand the Words'' by The Help.I have it on a comp. called Endless Journey.Great stuff, love the second track also, but not sure what it is? the fifth song is ''Death is gonna Die'' by Socrates drank the Cronium. That's alls I got, great mix, thanks

That's too much honour. I knew 4, 2 of which were not on the list. And I admit I sometimes do a little bit of research when the title doesn't immediately come to mind. The other 2 I knew were Babe Ruth and the Shocking Blue.
