Four Finks - Hello Sucker
Wow, pure cheezy goodness. Wikki Wikki Woo may be the dumbest example ever of the "Stranded In The Jungle" genre. Dumb but, you know, good.
ReplyDeleteyeah man i really do love this good old dumb stuff greatly.... the dumber the better, not sure what that says about me....
ReplyDeleteI know the tune on "Hello Sucker"..it was used as a tv theme? or something. Can't think of the name of it tho..but I have an earworm from it now. Does anyone know another name for that tune?
ReplyDeleteRichard, It was a pop hit as "Hello Mudda, Hello Fadda (Here I am at Camp Grenada)" For Allen Sherman, but I think the tune is something classical.
ReplyDeleteIt is "Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah" by Allen Sherman.
ReplyDelete"Here I am, in Camp Granada"
Cheers.

ReplyDeleteWikki Wikki Woo is beyond fabulous. I wanna know where the finks found their love juice! ;-)
ReplyDeleteAlso, does anyone know when this was recorded?

ReplyDeletegreat stuff.
ReplyDeletethe classical piece that lends its melody here is ponchielli's "dance of the hours."
