  1. Well, ya stumped me, Dick. The growling lead singer early on sounded vaguely familiar, Behind The Green Door is some British pop band, the rest, i dunno. Songs from Roger Corman hippie movies?

  5. first track is Rapunzel - Mornin' Sunrise which still seems to have eluded compilation makers somehow.
    Later on there is Sultana by Titanic - and I can't wait to find out about that "come on in" track about halfway through!

  10. There is a great documentary on the commune / cult run by the rock band Rapunzel (aka Spirit in Flesh) called "Free Spirits" - good stuff.

    I got some old mono and stereo songs grabbed off KSHE in the late 60's early 70's that are unk artist. Interested in giving them a listen and see who they are?

  20. been holding back on these to see if anyone else guessed. But being from st louis one is very familiar with the following two songs. Fever Tree: come with me and Jonathan Round: sympathy for the devil. Both still get played a couple times a month on a local station KSHE during the Sunday morning classics show.(CHECK IT OUT. COOL STUFF)

  22. must suggest you check them out on line. can see their playlist and listen KSHE 95 sunday mornings 8-12 noon. Also KDHX 89.1 on friday 5-7 am. Great show there as well

  26. That sped up instrumental sounds familiar. Aaargghh ... it's somewhere on your blog. The first songs are new to me. Will listen to the rest tomorrow.

    Dying to know what song the line "I get so high, each time that you walk by" is in. It's a killer tune.
