    Great tune. You gotta wonder about the obvious similarities in the name and sound: The 'Parkays'... The 'Bar-Kays'... It was just a thought i had.

    You surely mean the Mar-Keys. Whose "Last Night" made it to #3 on the Billboard pop chart just three months before "Late Date" peaked at #91.
