It does not say he played on those recordings. The song names serve to identify the artist. How do I know? Johnny was lead guitarist in my band for 4 years, 1990-1994.
Ed GreenwaldUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14026738921585218099noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7132262239331175032.post-18205370123054243902008-12-04T09:14:00.000-05:002008-12-04T09:14:00.000-05:00hey folks, i REALLY appreciate the comments. I try and give a little background on all the 45's i post but almost everything i post is culled from the web so accuracy is limited at best i would imagine.

I've always been a record collector but the great thing about doing this little bloggy here is the fact that it actually forces me to find stuff out about these cool records that i have. Most times it makes the music even that much more enjoyable, at least for me, to find out some nuggets of info on each. I don't claim to bat 1.000 here but i try my best to find accurate info, so, if i slip, just pick me up! and thanks!
ddDevil Dickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15962298209910015403noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7132262239331175032.post-35163033192670777342008-12-04T02:53:00.000-05:002008-12-04T02:53:00.000-05:00His playing is great! I'm really glad I found this site. Far as the Sam Cooke session(s), only Hugo & Luigi know for sure.
MikelJMikel Jhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06660290642237724279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7132262239331175032.post-67166085346074353722008-12-04T02:46:00.000-05:002008-12-04T02:46:00.000-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.Mikel Jhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06660290642237724279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7132262239331175032.post-62163173987251881722008-12-03T22:25:00.000-05:002008-12-03T22:25:00.000-05:00Thanks for the clarification on the "Chain Gang" r...Thanks for the clarification on the "Chain Gang" recording session, DD.Sam's Nephhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15408962736576564837noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7132262239331175032.post-69822473566536917562008-12-03T21:45:00.000-05:002008-12-03T21:45:00.000-05:00Good one! Do you know when Johnny Fortune claimed to play guitar on "Chain Gang?" As a studio musician? I guess my question is "where did that factoid come from?"Sam's Nephhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15408962736576564837noreply@blogger.com
